surfkids Newsletter
Vol. 1
May - June 2025

We love you guys!

Thank you for believing in Surfkids Shredding Senegal 🌊

To thank you for your trust and support – without which we couldn’t move forward – we’re happy to share the very first edition of our newsletter with you. Your commitment means the world to us. Because of your belief in our mission, young girls and boys in Yoff are discovering the ocean, learning to surf, building confidence, and dreaming bigger every day.

School's out! We're proud of all our little students, 99% of the surfkids students will move on to the next class.

Thanks to your support we started to build our new local for the kids!

Thanks to your donations and support, we are creating our new space, 100% dedicated to the program’s activities.
Until now, our activities have taken place at the Malika Surf Camp, and that hasn’t been ideal: but thanks to you, that’s changing. We’ll keep you posted on progress over the coming weeks.

The new local will house a classroom and training facilities, as well as separate changing rooms for boys and girls. There will also be storage space for surfboards previously stored in Kane’s repair shop. This will enable Kane to focus fully on his craft and work in better conditions.

We're hoping for the best for our local surfers, and they're training hard to perform and give their best on this step of the Senegalese Cup.
