Goal of the institution:

As a foundation based in Dakar, Senegal, we are committed to supporting approximately 50 children in both educational and sporting areas. We want to support these children in developing their skills, self-confidence and future prospects, while creating a positive impact within the local surfing community. We believe that surfing is a great way to keep them far away from the streets, the drugs and bad companies, by building the sense of belonging to a community, the respect for the environment and the ocean, the challenge of life.

Functions and names of the board members: the board consists of Carmel Klein: Chairman, Simon Fitskie: Secretary, Koen Schrama: Finances, Kevin Krapmann: External Relations.

Remuneration policy: the members of the board do not receive any remuneration for their activities. They are entitled to reimbursement of the costs incurred by them in the performance of their duties and approved by the board, provided they are not excessive and the costs are also included in the budget adopted for that year. The 2023 budget does not include any compensation for the members of the board.
